Firewood and Propane in High Point, NC
The yard doesn’t shut down when the mulch season ends.
Firewood
Buy It By The Bundle Or The Tote
Which one you want comes down to how often you plan on lighting a fire.
- A bundle Enough for an evening in front of a fire pit or a wood stove, and it fits in a car trunk.
- A tote A bulk bag, for burning through the season rather than one night.
Stack it up off the ground and keep the rain off the top.

Propane
We Fill It By The Gallon
Pull up with the tank and we’ll put propane in it. What you’re charged depends on the size of the tank.
- Grill tanks, $15 flat The standard tank off the back of a gas grill. $15 to fill, whatever’s left in it. Bring it by and we’ll do it while you wait.
- Bigger tanks, by the gallon Anything larger than a grill tank is charged by the gallon, so you only pay for what goes in.
The $15 is flat, so there’s nothing to gain by running a grill tank right down first. Carry it upright and secured, and don’t leave it in a hot car. Not sure yours can still be filled? Bring it in and we’ll check the date on the collar.

The Rest Of The Cold Weather List
Three more things people often buy the wrong one of.
Pine needles
For beds you want looking finished. They knit together, hold a slope better than mulch and don’t wash out in a hard rain.

Straw, lime and fertilizer
Straw goes over new seed to hold the moisture and keep the birds off. Lime and fertilizer are on the board beside it.

Lucky Buck
